A husband and father of four, he enjoys traveling, skiing, golf, mountain biking, and living life to the fullest.
David Arvidson is a founding partner of ARBOR Financial Group and brings nearly three decades of experience in financial services, real estate lending, and wealth management. Since entering the mortgage and financial advisory space in 1996, David has built a reputation for combining strategic insight with disciplined execution.
Before launching ARBOR in 2001, David played a pivotal role in the development of early online finance and insurance platforms through partnerships with industry leaders including Autobytel, General Electric, MetLife, and LendingTree.
David holds a B.S. from the University of Southern California, an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, and completed the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of California, Irvine. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a designation awarded by the CFP Board in 2013.
Mike Wright is a Founder and Manager of the ARBOR Fund. With more than 22 years in the mortgage industry and over $2.3 billion in funded loans, Mike has built his career on trust, long term relationships, and a deep understanding of how individuals and businesses use capital effectively. He has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Mortgage Brokers in the United States for ten consecutive years, earning a reputation for solving complex financing challenges and identifying opportunities others often overlook.
Mike’s extensive network of borrowers, builders, and investors, built one relationship at a time, forms the foundation of the ARBOR Fund’s strategy. His hands on experience across thousands of transactions provides a disciplined and practical perspective when identifying income focused mortgage opportunities with strong fundamentals and attractive risk profiles.
Before entering the finance industry, Mike was a standout collegiate athlete. He was a member of the 1995 Division I National Championship baseball team at Cal State Fullerton and was later inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame alongside his teammates for their historic achievement. Mike also played professionally in the San Francisco Giants organization, an experience that helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and team first mindset.

As Chief Financial Officer, Sam Pavoni is responsible for the company’s financial functions, including accounting, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations. His career spans over 20 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining ARBOR Financial Group, Sam was the Chief Financial Officer for the M.H. Sherman Company, a private commercial real estate and investment holding company. Before that, he served in various finance leadership roles at publicly traded and privately held companies. He started his career in public accounting at RSM, LLP.
A certified public accountant (CPA), he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
